Violinova is a self-study violin room. It gives you a structured course, a real instrument on screen and one small thing to practise at a time. No teacher in the room is required to begin.

Open Course, choose First Sound, tap a lesson, read What you'll learn / Watch for / Pass when, then tap Start practice.
No. There is no account, login or subscription. Everything needed for the core course is bundled and works offline.
No. Violinova does not request microphone access, does not record audio and does not analyse your playing. Follow the visual hand, bow and score instead.
No. Adult beginners are a core use case, but the course is for complete beginners of any age, returning players and self-taught learners. Younger students can use it with a parent or teacher.
Yes. In Studio → Import a score, choose a MusicXML, ABC or plain-text file. It is read on this device and appears under Library → My pieces. Complex orchestral reductions may need clean-up in your notation app first.
The App Store listing is iPhone only, and there is no iPad screenshot set. The iPhone build may run on iPad in compatibility mode.
Progress is local. Reinstalling the app clears the local container. If you only want a fresh start, complete or ignore the current lesson; the course never forces a streak.
Violinova is a paid app with no in-app purchases or subscription. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for a refund request.

This data stays inside the app's iOS container. It is not uploaded. Deleting the app deletes the container and its local data, subject to normal iOS backup behaviour.
The 3D violin stage is bundled locally and loaded through a custom in-app scheme inside WKWebView. It does not navigate to a website, does not use a web account and does not require a network connection. The app contains no remote API calls.
Violinova requests no permissions. There is no microphone, camera, photo library, contact, location, local network or tracking permission. Import is performed through the system document picker; the app only reads the file you choose.
Violinova is rated 4+ and is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because we do not collect personal information from anyone.
The app uses Apple frameworks and the App Store for distribution and purchases. The 3D stage and models are used under a written licence from the reference implementation owner. There are no advertising, analytics or social SDKs.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

By downloading, installing or using Violinova (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's App Store terms and the Standard End User License Agreement.
The App is rated 4+. If you are a minor, use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Violinova is a self-study teaching aid. It is not a substitute for a qualified teacher, medical advice, physiotherapy or professional musical instruction. You are responsible for how you practise and for avoiding strain or injury. Stop if you feel pain and consult a qualified professional.
The App, its interface, original curriculum, original arrangements and visual design are owned by the developer or used under licence. Public-domain musical works remain in the public domain. The 3D stage and models are used under a written licence. You retain rights to scores you import.
Violinova is a paid download. There is no subscription and there are no in-app purchases. Apple processes payment; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including loss of local data or reliance on practice guidance.
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple is not responsible for the App's content or support. Apple's Standard EULA applies in addition to these Terms.
We may update these Terms when the App changes. The current version is published on this page. We may discontinue the App or a feature in accordance with App Store rules.
